A TRIP TO THE EAST COAST
We’ve just spent a few days on the east coast in our tiny caravan, our last holiday before my eldest starts school next week. I feel like we’re in limbo at the moment, waiting to find our new rhythm. We had a great time away though, the boys love being in the caravan and roaming outside all day.
We camped close to the Cleveland Way so one morning as soon as we woke up, me and my eldest rode our bikes to the shoreline. I wanted to take some pictures to gather some ideas for an upcoming project and he asked if he could come with me.
On the way there the light was so special and no one else around he kept saying ‘wowww, this is amazing mummy’, I took pictures as we walked up and down the shoreline to which he said ‘this is taking a long time’ and then it was time to go back for breakfast, where he complained all the way home but still, I’ll remember the look on his face on our little adventure seeing the cliffs and the sea before anyone else was awake.
