Joanne is a portrait, lifestyle and editorial photographer based in the North of England, working with clients including Country Living magazine, the National Trust and National Geographic Traveller UK.

Her work is rooted in a deep interest in people and the way they live their lives. Drawn to everyday moments, she documents individuals, spaces and processes with a sense of intimacy and familiarity. Taking a natural, unobtrusive approach, she focuses on relaxed, in-between moments to create imagery that feels soft, honest and authentic.

Through her photography, she tells the stories of businesses and individuals, capturing who they are, what they do and how they do it. She is also a previous winner of Portrait of Britain.
