WOOL CIRCLE
Wool Circle is a collaborative project led by three UK business owners who are working to change the narrative around British wool. The aim is to create fully traceable Yorkshire yarn, beginning with rare-breed sheep raised by Edward and Laura Sutcliffe on their farm in Heptonstall.
Once shorn, the wool travels to Huddersfield to be spun into yarn, then on to Marsden to be hand dyed before returning to Heptonstall where it is transformed into finished products by knitwear designer Nic Corrigan of Whitehall Studio. The result is a circular, place-based process that celebrates local skills, provenance, and the value of British wool.
