Artist Clive Hicks-Jenkins photographed at his incredible home in Wales. These images were taken for Penfold Press - an independent publisher and printer who works with Clive regularly. Clive lives one of the most creatively fulfilling lives I’ve come across, his dedication and drive towards his practise is very inspiring and I really enjoyed the few hours I spent with him. Clive works over multiple rooms in his house, working where the light (and warmth!) is and taking walks in his garden for some inspiration.
Lorna of The Potting Studio photographed in her Leeds based workshop. Portrait and process imagery mixed with magical window light, what a shoot!
Photographs of the private view of the Bill Brandt / Henry Moore exhibition at Hepworth Wakefield.
UTE beer - a collaboration between Studio.Build, Plaey Furniture, Refold and North Brewing Co. We spent a day in spring 2019 wandering around 4 different woodlands in Yorkshire - Meanwood, Otley, Skipton and Ilkley. All relevant places to each of the collaborators and then the navigation points were placed over the images for the artwork. Even though all the places are fairly local to each other, the landscape is so different and varied. It culminated in a beer brewed by North Brewing Co, a vinyl and cassette of sounds of the woodlands and an exhibition at Colours May Vary in Leeds with 2 metre long prints of the imagery.
Food photography for Spice & Green, an independent spice blend company based in Leeds.
The Clean Kilo, a zero waster supermarket in Digbeth, Birmingham photographed for Guardian Labs and Henkel.
A 10 month long documentation of the work produced by artists Laura Slater and Mawuena Kattah. I photographed them both developing and researching ideas, starting to produce work and also screen printing their final ideas. I then photographed the exhibition held at Colours May Vary in Leeds. This project was funded by Arts Council England and was an absolute pleasure to work on.
