TEASELS

Im not usually one for photographing still life but I found this little teasel in the woods so decided to take it back to my studio and find it’s most photogenic side. The dried head was once used in the textile industry to raise the nap on woollen cloth ‘to tease’, which seems quite fitting as my studio is in a former textile mill.

HELEN SKELTON - BOOK COVER

Back in May this year I was lucky enough to photograph Helen Skelton for the cover of her book ‘In My Stride’ published by Headline. Below is the book itself and some other images we captured on the day.

The photography took place at Another Place in the Lake District.

POSTCARDS FROM CORNWALL

A few snapshots from our week in Cornwall at the beginning of September. I was there with Angela Harding to photograph her next book which will be out next year but took the family with me to make it into a bit of a holiday. We stayed near Zennor just outside of St Ives and the light down there is so beautiful, I really get it now why so many artists are drawn to be there. A really special week full of inspiration and family time.
