UNISON COLOUR FOR COUNTRY LIVING
On a beautiful autumn day last year, I headed up to Northumberland to spend the day with Unison Colour for Country Living magazine photographing the process of making pastels and capturing all the details. What a truly special and inspiring place it is.
Artist John Hersey founded Unison Colour after many years of not finding a pastel he was happy with, he decided to make his own and after many years of experimenting, the pastel they sell today was created. John has since passed away and his wife and son still run the business with the pastels still being made in the studio and workshop where John worked.
I had such a great day with everyone at Unison Colour and was lucky enough to see the most beautiful golden hour on my way home, those big Northumberland skies are something else!
