OXFORDSHIRE WEDDING - GRAEME & JESSICA
It’s always fun shooting the first wedding of the year and Graeme and Jessica’s simple but perfect wedding was more than I could have wished for to ease me back in to wedding season. I met Graeme & Jes at a wedding I photographed last year so it was so nice to see them again. The sun shined all day, their friends and family were wonderful and oh boy did the gin flow (sadly not for me!). They were married in All Saints Church in a little village called Wroxton in Oxfordshire and then a short walk (and a minor slip of their marriage certificate falling in to the pond) down to the reception in Jes’ grandmother’s garden. Just before dinner I pulled them away for a few minutes into the field behind the house for some evening pictures which makes me so happy we have this beautiful-ness on our doorstep, how lucky are we!
Jes’ dress was custom made, as she works in fashion, herself and two of her colleagues spent many an evening with them doing the necessary fittings and holy moly, what a dress! Feathers were the feature of the day with them on her dress and also as confetti which was probably one of my favourite confetti moments to date. Christine Cara did a fab job of the makeup and Jes’ mum made the most beautiful looking cake.
It was just the most special day for so many reasons.
